ABOUT ME

My photographs act as archives of people’s lives, a time capsule of their most special moments. The plan is simple: to capture your story, in a way that you would love to remember it. I spend time with you, get to know you, and understand the story you want to preserve. I take on the mantle of the silent sutradhar, an invisible narrator retelling that occasion in its most beautiful form, focussing on the high notes, defusing the mundane; distilling the magic of the memory that will outlive memory itself.

When I am not busy shooting, I am creating an ever-growing list of places to travel to. I can also be found geeking out over technology and relishing a chilled mug of beer.

Not much of a writer, I instead chose to tell stories in pictures, a series of moments captured by my lens, each image stitched together to frame memories for a lifetime and beyond. My aim is to look beyond the obvious and immortalize in pictures all that is unsaid – shy stolen glances, jubilant whoops, wide-eyed surprise, lips frozen on song, limbs akimbo in dance – the best moments out of memory. 

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a storyteller.
